Choose the hose that matches your vehicle, they will help protect your radiator from having too much tension on the top neck of the radiator. The OEM hose will reach the neck of the radiator and be able to hold, but has been known to break the upper neck of the radiator once you start driving. It is recommended you replace the hose with an extended hose that will reach from the engine to the radiator without having any tension and not putting any unwanted stress on the weaker parts.
